Due to high demand from our customers, Lyrek CEMS has changed pricing structures from a per-event basis to a site-licensed format.
In the past, you were charged for a subscription package based on how many events you intended to use each month. Licensees that did not use all the events for each given period still needed to pay for the events in their subscription. Licensees that used more events than their subscription allotted were hit with overage fees.
With the new site-licensed format, all licensees now have unlimited events, RSVPs/Invitations, Seating Emails, Follow-ups and Mailings. This means that the subscription policies and overages are no longer in place and licensees no longer have to worry about forecasting an accurate number of events on a month-by-month basis.
What is site-licensing? Site-licensing means that licensees pay for Lyrek CEMS based on the amount of annual users that are enabled on their installation. The first user costs a certain amount per month and each additional user costs a decreased amount per month. Depending on your pricing plan, you could end up saving thousands of dollars each year by no longer being required to estimate monthly events and mailings.
How does the new pricing system affect you? At the beginning of your lease, you will be asked to specify the number of annual users for your installation of Lyrek. A lease may be mailed based on the existing number of users at the end of your prior lease term for your convenience. Each of these users will have annual access to Lyrek as long as your lease remains active.
Should you require monthly seasonal users, you can submit a support ticket to request that this additional user be added. Your ticket should include a requested username and password for this user, as well as the user type (Administrator, Manager, Technician, Data Entry Clerk).
Prior to the month's completion, simply send a second support ticket requesting the removal of the seasonal monthly user and you'll only be charged for one month at the rate of your pricing plan (see your contract for more information about this rate). If no follow-up support ticket is sent before the month lapses, this user will remain active in the system and you will be charged for each consecutive month until you request this user's removal.
How do I know my pricing plan? Check the terms of your agreement and you'll see if you're subscribed to Lyrek based on Lyrek Standard Pricing or Lyrek Agency Pricing. In order to qualify for Agency Pricing, you must have at least seven (7) annual users.
Why can't I add users anymore? In order to keep track of which users are annual users and which are monthly seasonal users, Lyrek CEMS's support team will need to administrate your users page. Unfortunately, until there is demand for an online billing process, this is the way users must be managed. It is our belief that the benefits of having unlimited events and mailings outweighs this minor inconvenience, however we're always open to feedback. In fact, your feedback already taught us to that an unlimited event plan and site-licensed lease is what you prefer. Our hopes are to work with you and your businesses to establish the best options for each upgrade of Lyrek CEMS and we're interested in your thoughts.
You are still able to modify, delete, disable and enable users in the system.
Can I disable an annual user? Yes, you still are able to edit, delete and disable/enable users, just not add new ones. The disabled users will show up with a line through them. Please note that you'll still be charged for disabled users as your number of annual users should be discerned at the beginning of each lease period and cannot be changed until the lease is over. If you're unsure about the number of users you'd like for the lease period, you may want to add an extra one just to be sure, as seasonal users cost more on a month-by-month basis than annual users do.
What if I want to change a password for an annual user? You'll still be able to edit, delete and disable users, just not add new ones.
I deleted an annual user. Why am I still being charged for the same number of users as before? You need to discern annual users at the beginning of each lease period. If you accidentally delete a user, submit a support ticket and we'll re-add them. If you delete a user on purpose, please note that you'll still be charged for the number of users you had when you started the current lease.
